A Milestone Tour
The Willow Consort’s first major tour featuring Pavel Chesnokov’s Vigilia is complete. A massive thank you to everyone who joined us and shared in the music in Frederiksberg, Höör, and Malmö!

Our first large-scale project was exactly the success we hoped it would be. Gathering such a phenomenal group of singers to perform Pavel Chesnokov’s monumental Vigilia (1912) was an unforgettable experience and a huge milestone for the ensemble.

The music lives on. We are currently finalizing our edition to release it completely free (open source) to choirs and conductors around the world. Our ultimate goal is simply for this music to be sung.

By moving beyond the standard canon, we invite our audiences to experience unfamiliar music delivered with ultimate vocal freedom, flexibility, and profound passion.

We are actively building an organizational model that treats freelance musicians with the security, open dialogue, and respect of full-time employees, ensuring that the people who make the music are always supported.
